Using blown and hot formed glass as a sculptural medium, Tillie Burden interprets everyday objects and nature inspired themes into a composition of realities, half – truths, and non – realities.
Drawing inspiration from surrealism and symbolism to convey the poetic and the humorous, demonstrating how often times the absurdity of our psyche forms our own alternative versions of truth, whilst narrating the concept that our experiences can only ever be viewed through our own interpretive filter, which may or may not be precise or accurate.
